We are among the lucky ones who only know the war from history, or worse, from the TV screen. I lived almost 25,000 days, two of them in wartime conditions. For those who are unfamiliar with my war story, I encourage you to read it. I am by no means a war expert. And I don’t want anyone to call me that. The term “expert” sounds like an insult to me. It’s not right, of course, but the power of the media was able to make such a revolt.
In an interview in Polish by Christoph Oppenheim on BanBye, I heard an interesting story from WWI. It was 1914 – Christmas. Location: German – French Front. Both sides decided to declare a truce during Christmas. Nobody fired, so there were also conversations between the soldiers of both armies. Even a football game was played. After the holidays, when the ceasefire ended, the soldiers of both sides flatly refused to fire. They didn’t want to kill people who turned out to be the same normal citizens of this planet. War propaganda denying the right to life to people speaking the enemy’s language has stopped working.
Where do the people who want war come from? One group are those who make money in war. Generals, representatives of the defense industry and holders of shares in defense companies. Politicians, especially those who need to divert opinions from their frauds and incompetence. A large group of people who come to a war-torn country for an “adventure”. They are mostly degenerates who don’t care which side they fight on. Their aim is to kill, rape and torture with impunity – they like it. There are also ideologues who hate anything to do with the enemy.
There are not many such advocates of war in the world. However, it is enough to force the rest to participate in a new war. The rest are actual victims. Most of them don’t know who is hurting them. It’s not the flag, uniform or armband that kills them – these are the forces seeking to depopulate the population and monetize human tragedy.
Every war begins with preparing us not to kill scruples. We have known the original division into good and bad for a long time. Terms like “axis of evil” or the current campaign against everything Russian are used for this. The enemy is presented as vermin that must be exterminated. Hardly anyone will think that the other side is doing exactly the same thing. After all, we’re the good guys! For real?
Modern wars. even the local ones are geopolitical in nature. Whoever wins will have more say in the world. Hence a greater impact on wealth distribution. Let the rest share the poverty.
There is also a war for our minds. This propaganda machine is only there for us to support the war on the right side. Therefore, it is very important not to succumb to the rhetoric of war. Let’s not divide into support for Ukrainians, support for Russians and those who don’t give a damn. Let’s be active against every war.
