Situated on the Black Sea and the Carpathian Mountains, beautiful and historic Romania has attracted worldwide attention due to the authorities’ new understanding of democracy in Bucharest. The turbulent history of this country can be traced back to 106 AD, when present-day Romania was incorporated into the Roman Empire.
On November 24, 2024, the conservative candidate Calin Georgescu unexpectedly won the first round of elections with 23% of the vote. According to the polls, he was expected to receive only 6% of the vote. Due to his stance on the war in Ukraine, the mainstream press dubbed him the Romanian Orban and labeled him “pro-Russian”. At the beginning of December, the Romanian Constitutional Court declared the results of the first round of elections invalid, justifying the decision with the alleged “result of organized manipulation from outside the country”.
During the Covid vaccination, he made a promotional video in which he bathed in a lake in the middle of the mountains in winter and called for the natural strengthening of the immune system
He claims that the COVID “pandemic” was a hoax.
No wonder they want to get rid of him at all costs!

After the investigative medium snoop.ro revealed that the alleged TikTok campaign that led to the annulment of the presidential elections was actually paid for by the ruling National Liberal Party (PNL), the same party that had called for the annulment of the elections, a wave of protests swept the country.
Bucharest experienced a true popular uprising. Thousands of Romanians responded to the call of deposed Romanian President Calin Georgescu!
The demonstrators are demanding the reconquest of their country! “We demand the resumption of the second round of elections, an end to arrests and political persecution and an end to EU and NATO interference! Georgescu is our president!”

This is what a modern democracy looks like: If the people vote for the wrong candidate, they are arrested, the election is annulled and power remains in truly “democratic” hands. This is the future electoral model for Europe and the rest of the world. The founders of Athenian democracy would have been amazed at what their idea of people power has become.
