It is difficult to say what specifically most triggered the catatonic European breakdown: Was it the fear of the U.S. and Russia joining together as a major power nexus – thus stripping Europe from ever again being able glide along on the back of American power, through the specious notion that any European state must have exceptional access to the Washington ‘ear’? From an article published Wednesday on strategic-culture.su: America as Republic, not as Empire – Europe’s “sound and fury” after jaw-dropping pivots in U.S. policy.
European politicians are stuck in ossified policies from the last century. That is why they did not recognize the “threat” to Europe’s freedom posed by the previous sovereign from overseas. It was unimaginable for them! After all, we had so politely submitted to every suggestion from Washington, even casually thrown in. They had learned nothing from history. They will end up as all friends of the US have ended up: killed or abandoned to their fate. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Libya, Syria. You can endlessly list all the leaders of countries that have been betrayed by the USA. Suffice it to mention the fate of Osama bin Laden, who was hired by the CIA and sacrificed in the “fight against terrorism”.
It is now Ukraine’s turn. Ukraine is not America’s war, says the current administration in the White House. Could it be that Ukraine organized the 2014 Maydan color revolution? The evidence, however, points to the US.
I can already hear the Trump supporters screaming: What are you talking about, you write so nicely about the Trump revolution, and now comes such an accusation! Yes, I support Trump’s fight against the Deep State – against the greatest enemy not only of the USA, but of humanity as a whole. This fight is described very well in the article above.
The fact that it was the previous US administration that promised all kinds of help to the Kiev comedian just to weaken Russia does not explain that Trump is using the situation to colonize Ukraine. This is reckless, especially for the ordinary people, of whom there is a majority after all, who along with the resources deep in Ukrainian soil are being sold like slaves by an illegitimate Ukrainian president who is trying to maintain access to the trough for the next few months and take as much as he can for himself and his oligarch buddies.
The “weakening” of Russia has strengthened it economically and militarily. Russia is the undisputed winner of the war instigated by Maydan. Trump has recognized this victory and has become a traitor to European politicians because he has accepted the obvious facts on the Ukrainian front.
Clinging to the long-disproved political myths of the European Union’s elites can only lead to the collapse of this backward colossus based on bureaucratic instructions to fix the world through bans, restrictions on economic invention and, above all, censorship.
The European Commission is not in a position to recover from its failure. Its role in shaping Europe is in serious decline and continuing to insist on lies that no one believes is the best way to self-destruct. This is perhaps the only aspect of the Eurocrat’s activities that is worth supporting.
