Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, announced extensive changes to the company’s moderation rules on Tuesday. As part of this, Meta, including Facebook and Instagram, will discontinue its previous fact-checking program, which was previously implemented together with external partners. In future, a community-driven solution based on the “Community Notes” from X (formerly Twitter) will be used. He cited the growing importance of freedom of expression and the changes in politics and society as the main motives, reports NBC. This is a revolutionary announcement to end the restriction of freedom of expression on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Just like on Elon Musk’s X platform. Of course, it is difficult to see Mark Zuckerberg as a hero in the fight for freedom of expression. My blog has also been censored by Facebook several times. To this day, the reach of my posts is kept artificially low by shadow bans. Of course, it’s easier to change fronts when the deep state retreats with its tail between its legs than when Elon Musk takes the kitchen sink to Twitter headquarters to rid the company of censors. On the other hand, the Facebook founder’s late but nonetheless courageous move to the right side of this war on humanity is commendable given its timid nature.
If there is a platform with freedom of expression, then censorship platforms become increasingly unattractive to users. Mark Zuckerberg, whose Facebook has been eaten away by censorship, has probably also recognized this. Today (January 7), he announced that he wants to end the censorship of “fact checkers”: “Fact checkers were simply too politically biased and destroyed all user trust.”
The totalitarian system that the globalists want to introduce in the world is only possible if the usurpers of world power have complete control over the views of the gray people. Censorship presupposes a single universal truth imposed by the ideologues in power, and anything that deviates from this pattern is “misinformation”.
There is still a long way to go. The year 2025 promises to be very bad for the would-be owners of our world. These changes will not come tomorrow. Zuckerberg will start with the USA. He will leave Europe for last if he changes anything here, for fear of EU sanctions.
