This is what it looks like: The Orwellian thought police are exercising their totalitarian functions. Thought crime – that is the correct charge against the stubborn advocates of a way of thinking independent of the official narrative – i.e. guilty. The fight against “disinformation”, where only the government-dependent media define what this disinformation is, forms the basis for further propaganda of media lies.
The last time I was in Poland, I kept hearing commercials on the radio against “misinformation”, mainly about vaccinations. I didn’t hear them on TV because I try to avoid any contact with this propagator of the only real “truth”.
The fight against “disinformation” is a fight against dissenters. It doesn’t matter who is right here, the important thing is that the “dissenters” are discredited.
Yesterday an article appeared on Report24: Greens plan thought police: hunt for “disinformation” planned. Source.
What George Orwell never dared to dream of is slowly becoming reality in green Germany. The self-proclaimed saviors of democracy now want to put our thoughts and words under state supervision – for our own good, of course. In its latest draft election manifesto, which comes under the almost ironic title “Growing together”, the party reveals its true intentions: The “systematic dissemination of disinformation on behalf of a foreign state” is to be prosecuted in future. What exactly is meant by “disinformation”? Well, the Green ministers of truth will decide that for us.
People who hold different views are a valuable source of experience for me. On the one hand, they make me ask myself whether I am right and look for the right arguments; on the other hand, they enrich my experience. To do this, however, you have to be open to all acceptable concepts. The thought police will only push this underground and not settle anything.
The Thought Police is an organization that exists in the universe of George Orwell’s novel 1984 and acts as the secret police of the state of Oceania. It is subordinate to the Ministry of Love. The main task of the Thought Police was to prosecute thought crime through extensive surveillance of the public. Those caught in the act were taken to the Ministry of Love’s underworld, where they often ended up in the infamous Room 101, while their memory and all evidence of their existence was erased. The Thought Police were modelled on the real organizations of totalitarian states, such as the NKVD and the Gestapo. Source.
