It sounds like a fairy tale. Once upon a time… in the time before smartphones, in the 1990s, there were so-called pagers.

I also used such a device. It was worn behind the belt of my trousers and when it vibrated and beeped, the display showed the phone number I should call back. I would look for the nearest phone booth – today it is also an archaism – and call back my impatient boss or colleague. In order for such a pager to receive a notification with a phone number, it was enough to call the operator’s number. This form of slavery, now replaced by smartphones, was widespread at the time.

A certain young state in Palestine ordered its intelligence services to supply its opponents in Lebanon with thousands of pagers. Why pagers? Today, such devices are used for two-way communication, similar to a walkie-talkie. There is a common misconception that communication with a pager that is not connected to a network is more secure than with a smartphone. However, love of neighbor was not the reason for this “gift”. The pagers were additionally enriched with PETN explosives that can be detonated at any time.

A terrorist attack was carried out on Tuesday. Hundreds of these pagers exploded due to a signal sent for this purpose. Read about it on the Austrian platform tkp.at in the article: Pager terror in Lebanon – devices in Europe filled with explosives. Source.

Around 5,000 pagers from the Taiwan company Gold Apollo are said to have been filled with 20 grams of PETN explosives in Europe. According to Sky News, the Mossad secret service was the client. According to US NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, this is an act of terrorism that would result in a massive outcry from the Western media in other cities around the world. There was no outcry.

Hundreds of electronic devices exploded simultaneously in homes, cars, on the street and probably also in airplanes. So far, 11 deaths have been recorded.

Lufthansa and Air France are suspending flights to several destinations in the Middle East following pager explosions in Lebanon.

What can you expect from a state that seeks the barbaric destruction of the Palestinian people? Of course, every country has the right to defend itself against attacks. But the problem is that a year ago, on October 7, Israel was the driving force behind Hamas’ attack on its own country. It not only enabled this attack, but supported it on many levels with the help of the Mossad. In addition, the Israeli army actively participated in this attack. If anyone does not believe it, watch the video published by the Israeli platform ynetnews.com, which shows how helicopters of this country shot at civilians in its own country on October 7, 2023.
