EU Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton announced his resignation yesterday. The sudden departure of one of the European Commission’s most influential figures comes amid controversy over his approach to digital regulation and ongoing attempts to censor social media platforms. A quote from an article published on Report24.info on Monday: EU Digital Commissioner Breton resigns: censorship allegations and governance dispute shake Brussels. Source.
Winning the battle does not mean winning the war. I have no intention of diminishing the joy of the downfall of a creature that promotes censorship. However, you can be sure that his place will not be replaced by a new commissioner with the convictions of Elon Musk. Bureaucratic careerists are lined up for this position, no better than Breton.
Well, who decides what is disinformation and what is the honest truth? This is a key question, because the future depends on it, of course, only on a correct and safe opinion. Maybe we will use “neutral” tools such as AI – artificial intelligence? I have been working in the IT industry for over 30 years and I can assure you that complex applications are not that difficult to manipulate to make them behave according to the wishes of their customers. However, if we assume the goodwill of these sponsors – theoretically, I would point out that AI is based on databases containing information that is no less susceptible to manipulation than the software itself.
Without censorship, no totalitarian dictatorship is possible. That is why the EU Commission is fighting so courageously for the implementation of the Digital Act plans. Because the EU is a tool in the hands of the enemies of humanity who are implementing their plans for world domination. The same applies to WHO and UN structures. Of course, we will find honest people in these organizations, although there are fewer and fewer of them. That is why I am not inclined to condemn everyone who has something to do with this collective economy. There were also people in the community who wanted to fight totalitarianism from within. One even succeeded: Mikhail Gorbachev.
The highly bureaucratic and ossified European Union is doomed to failure. The impending, inevitable recession of the economies of western countries in particular will mean that the EU, after having played a destructive role, will no longer be needed by anyone.
The BRICS countries, in turn, are faced with the dilemma that too many countries are ready to join this community. Currently, 34 countries are waiting to join the BRICS countries. Among these countries is Turkey, which is a member of the aggressive NATO pact. How can the decision-making capacity be maintained with such a large number (over 40) members, each of which pursues its own economic, military and social policies?
If Turkey becomes a BRICS member, it cannot be ruled out that the US will exert pressure on Turkey through NATO to obstruct decisions of the new multipolar alliance. In such a situation, the scenario of Turkey being a perpetual candidate for accession could repeat itself, similar to the process of Turkey’s EU accession, which has been going on for a quarter of a century.
