I was inspired to write this article by Gerhard Wsinewski’s speech (in German) before the independent Austrian television AUF1. Title: Year 2022 – what won’t you read in the news?
Weniger als drei Wochen vor Beginn der Eskalation des Konflikts in der Ukraine im Februar 2022 präsentierte Professor Jack Rasmus 10 Reasons Why US May Want Russia to Invade Ukraine.
These 10 reasons the US is pushing for a proxy war on Ukrainian territory are:
- Reunite NATO and strengthen US hegemony over it once again;
- Get Germany to cancel the Nordstream2 Russian Gas Pipeline; get Europe to buy US gas instead; increase US natural gas exports to Europe and thereby create supply shortage in US to justify US domestic gas price hikes & US profits;
- Create excuse to send still more troops & advanced weaponry to Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) & East Europe (Poland, Romania);
- Obtain more economic concessions from Ukraine for US business in exchange for more and better US/NATO arms;
- Grow US political support to go after Moldova to drive out Russian supporters & install US puppet regime over entire country;
- Justify more US effort & funding to try to destabilize Belarus & Kazakhstan;
- Provide major foreign policy distraction for Democrat party before November 2022 midterms;
- Get Congress to approve a further increase in US defense budget in addition to $778B;
- Excuse to go after pro-Russian supporters: Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba again;
- Test effectiveness of latest US weaponry against Russian forces & Russian weaponry effectiveness against US without having to directly confront Russia; get Russia to reveal state of its cyber capability.
Most of these points were implemented in favor of the USA. The current situation is not very favorable for the Ukrainian side. As soon as the frost comes, the allied forces of Russia and Belarus will attack Ukraine. With such superiority and the cutting off of the supply routes for further weapons from Poland, the Ukrainian army has little chance of surviving in the long run.
The Democrats also failed to retain power in Congress, and in the coming days there will be a swearing-in ceremony for Congressmen and the election of a Speaker of the House. Difficult times are ahead for the war advocates.
