A purely rhetorical question. For some it is too mild a term for a ruthless murderer, for others an insult to the majesty of the modern messiah. The term appeared in a video that Donald Trump published on his social platform Truth a few days ago. The video shows a speech at the Cambridge Union in which Professor Jeffrey Sachs accuses Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of being behind a series of military actions carried out by the US.
Netanyahu: “We are fighting in the name of all humanity …”
Oh, don’t let it come to “humanity” having to pay reparations to the Jews later.
The president-elect posted the clip on Truth Social, featuring economist Jeffrey Sachs, who accuses Netanyahu of manipulating US foreign policy and orchestrating “endless wars” in the Middle East. Quote from an article in The Indian Express: Trump releases video in which he calls Netanyahu a “son of a bitch”.
Netanyahu is still trying to persuade us to fight Iran. He is a son of a bitch, because he has involved us in endless wars.
It goes without saying that the United States bears responsibility for all the wars it has caused in the world. 20 years of bloody war in Afghanistan had little to do with a state in Palestine. Nevertheless, Benjamin Netanyahu’s role in starting the wars in Iraq and Syria is worth mentioning. To become the messiah of the Jewish people, he “only” had to destroy Iran.
I am not surprised that the American people do not want to accept that the axis of evil invented by President G. W. Bush is first and foremost the USA. It is not easy to live with the conviction that all my life I have supported murderers and been deceived by them.
For those who are so eager to pigeonhole people and lump them under the “Deep State” label, I have a question: how does Trump’s decision to release this video square with the claim that he is dancing on the strings pulled by Netanyahu? He has received nearly 100 million dollars from AIPAC for his campaign. Presumably he promised to defend Israel in return. Unfortunately, these are the realities of American politics. Obviously, however, he has not pledged to support the genocide in Gaza.
I repeat once again that the world is not black and white. If you are afraid to see the variety of colors that make up the beautiful life on earth, then at least pay attention to the shades of gray between white and black.
The pigeonholes certainly make it easier to find your way through the jungle of political orientations. However, you will never find two people whose convictions coincide on all points without exception. Exceptions are the rule. It is also a misunderstanding to see this war against the world in terms of left and right. It’s not that the evil left is imposing a mindless, rabid ideology on the world. Mrs. Angela Merkel was the first Green Chancellor – that’s what they call her in Germany. In reality, she was the leader of the CDU, the moderate right. This division has been abolished, and today there are only pro- or anti-globalist parties with shades that are needed to somehow stand out in this mass.
