Bad news comes from all corners. We would prefer it not to exist. Constant mood swings, where the bad predominates, have a very negative effect on many people. Of course, this is an element of psychological warfare. The result is depression and suicidal thoughts. It is as if someone is removing the ground beneath us on which we could always stand safely. People are more or less resistant to such crazy times. However, there are also positive aspects in every situation. Not because of self-deception – so as not to go crazy in this chaos.
When you read articles on my blog, you will also learn about many cruel and inhumane practices. We often experience uncontrolled outbursts of anger against the perpetrators and executors of this cruel plan that is directed against most people in the world. Regular readers of my blog know what I mean. Let’s not let these negative emotions overwhelm us.
The classic answer of the pessimist in such a situation is: “What should I be happy about? I need to know what threatens us.” Of course, to understand the world, knowledge about it is necessary. It’s the proportions that matter. They are different for everyone. However, we all have a limit to our endurance when we are bombarded with depressing news and predictions of impending “catastrophes”. You have to learn to switch off from disturbing thoughts, at least for a short time.
Nature offers us a great springboard. Just go to the forest or at least to the park and start observing. Not necessarily other stressed people like us. Look at leaves, grass, tree bark or birds. These are such obvious elements of our lives that we hardly notice them. And there is a lot of beauty in them that positively stimulates our imagination.
Let us not give in to thoughts like: “Dried leaves burn easily, so there will be a fire here soon.” These are the thoughts that we most want to escape from. Let us perceive the beauty and harmony of nature. It is provided to us free of charge and helps us to organize our thoughts so that we do not harm ourselves.
The leader of the Hopi Indians, White Eagle, commented on the current situation a few days ago: This moment that humanity is now experiencing can be considered a door or a hole. The decision to fall into the hole or go through the door is yours. If you consume the information 24 hours a day, with negative energy, constantly nervous, with pessimism, then you will fall into this hole.
But if you take the opportunity to look at yourself, to think about life and death, to take care of yourself and others, then you will go through the gate. Take care of your home, take care of your body. Connect with your spiritual home. When you take care of yourself, you take care of everyone at the same time. Do not underestimate the spiritual dimension of this crisis. Take the perspective of an eagle that sees everything from above with a wider view. In this crisis there is a social question, but also a spiritual question. Both go hand in hand.
Without the social dimension, we fall into fanaticism. Without the spiritual dimension, we fall into pessimism and meaninglessness. You are ready to face this crisis. Grab your toolbox and use all the tools at your disposal. Learn resistance using the example of the Native American and African peoples: we were and are still being exterminated. But we never stopped singing, dancing, making fires and being joyful. Don’t feel guilty for feeling happy in these difficult times.
Being sad or angry doesn’t help at all. Resistance is resistance through joy! You have every right to be strong and positive. And there is no other way to do this than to adopt a beautiful, joyful and radiant attitude. This has nothing to do with alienation (ignorance of the world). This is a strategy of resistance. When we walk through the door, we have a new worldview because we have faced our fears and hardships. This is all you can do now:
– Calm in the storm
– Stay calm, pray daily
– Make it a habit to encounter the Holy One every day. Show resistance through art, joy, trust and love. Source.
